24-Hour Notice Required

We require at least 24 hours advance notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to other clients who may need our services.

Cancellation Fees

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge, free rescheduling
  • Less than 24 hours: 50% of session fee
  • No-show: 100% of session fee

Emergencies

We understand that true emergencies happen. If you experience a sudden illness, family emergency, or other urgent situation, please contact us immediately. We'll work with you to find a reasonable solution.

Late Arrivals

If we arrive and you're not home or the space isn't prepared, we'll wait 15 minutes. After that, the session may be considered a no-show and full charges will apply. Please ensure you're ready at the scheduled appointment time.

Our Commitment to Professionalism

Mobile Massage Calgary maintains the highest standards of professional conduct. All services are therapeutic in nature and follow ethical guidelines established by professional massage therapy associations.

Client Safety & Comfort

  • Draping is always used to protect your privacy and modesty
  • Only the area being massaged is uncovered
  • You remain in control of your comfort level at all times
  • Communication is encouraged throughout the session
  • You may stop the session at any time

Appropriate vs. Inappropriate Requests

Appropriate: Requesting pressure adjustments, focus on specific areas, room temperature changes, or breaks during the session.

Inappropriate: Any requests of a sexual nature will result in immediate termination of the session without refund, and you will be banned from future services.

Confidentiality

All client information, including personal details and health information, is kept strictly confidential. We do not share your information with third parties.

Respectful Environment

We expect mutual respect between therapist and client. Aggressive behavior, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of services.

Payment Due

Payment is due at the time of service, immediately following your massage session.

Pricing

All prices are quoted at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change but will be honored for appointments already scheduled.

Travel Fees

No travel fee for locations within Calgary city limits. A nominal travel fee applies to surrounding areas (Airdrie, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks, etc.). Travel fees are disclosed when booking.

Gratuity

Gratuity is appreciated but never expected or required. If you feel your therapist provided exceptional service, tips are graciously accepted.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates must be presented at time of service. They are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.

Package Deals

Package deals must be used within 1 year of purchase. They are non-refundable but may be transferred to family members.

Health Disclosure

For your safety, please disclose any health conditions, injuries, surgeries, allergies, or medications when booking. This information helps us provide safe, effective treatment tailored to your needs.

Contraindications

Massage may not be appropriate for certain conditions. Please inform us if you have:

  • Recent surgery or injuries
  • Infectious diseases or fever
  • Skin conditions or rashes
  • Blood clots or circulatory issues
  • Severe osteoporosis
  • Pregnancy complications (for prenatal massage)

We may recommend consulting your doctor before proceeding with massage therapy.

Hygiene Standards

  • Fresh, clean linens for every client
  • Sanitized equipment between sessions
  • High-quality, hypoallergenic massage products
  • Therapist follows strict hand hygiene protocols

Allergies

Please inform us of any allergies to oils, lotions, or scents. We can accommodate sensitivities with unscented, hypoallergenic products.

COVID-19 & Illness Policy

If you're feeling unwell, please reschedule. We'll waive cancellation fees for illness. The same applies if your therapist is unwellโ€”your safety is our priority.

๐Ÿ“‹ Service Guidelines

Appointment Preparation

To ensure a smooth, relaxing experience:

  • Clear a space approximately 6ft x 8ft
  • Ensure room temperature is comfortable
  • Provide access to parking
  • Secure pets in another room
  • Turn off phones and minimize distractions

Session Duration

Massage time is hands-on therapy only. Allow an additional 10-15 minutes for setup and takedown. If you need to end early, the full session fee still applies.

Customization

Every session is customized to your needs. Please communicate your preferences, problem areas, and pressure preferences before and during the massage.

Multiple Clients (Couples Massage)

Couples massage requires two therapists and is scheduled as a special appointment. Both clients must be present at the scheduled time.

Minors

Clients under 18 require parental consent and a parent/guardian must be present during the session.
